Black Sabbath live @ Brisbane Entertainment Centre 25.04.16

On Monday i got to see Black Sabbath live @ Brisbane Entertainment Centre and all i can say is OMG what a great show the crowd atmosphere was electric, the vocals were above average and the drummer had more energy than the entire crowd combined. The opening act for Black Sabbath was a band called The Rival Sons from Long Beach, California
I really enjoyed the Rival Sons set the singer has a nice dirty vocals and at times was almost making out with the mic which is fine with me ;).

I went to the gig with my boyfriend Doug and he bought himself a Sabbath shirt what a handsome chap he is showing it off :)

When it was time for Sabbath to perform the crowd went wild, Black Sabbath performed a heap of the classic songs like War Pigs, Paranoid, Iron Man and Into the void. Ozzy Osbourne was on a roll with a spectacular vocal performance and surpassed popular expectations.

And drummer Tommy Clufetos gave a outstanding drum solo that really had the audience in awe at his energy and showmanship. At the end of the set a brilliant performance of Paranoid had the crowd losing it, I know i was :)

Guitarist Tony Iommi threw plectrums into the crowd and i was lucky enough to take one home, as well as Doug. I am planning on making mine into a necklace and overall i have to give it to Sabbath for giving Brisbane an amazing show that was by far not lacking and is one of the best performances i have seen in my adult years so far.

Fashionably late to 2015

Hello my Lovelies,

I think I may have left the fashionably late thing abit too long but I am back!

I have lots of news to tell you firstly I am now a working woman again.... WOO!
I work 5 days a week at a roofing manufacturer as their receptionist / administrator which I am loving, It is so challenging and rewarding I don't mind the early starts as I get to come into a wonderful workspace.

Secondly I have been buying off eBay a lot lately and I am thinking of doing a regular post about what I buy and reviewing the items I receive. Some of the items I buy are knock offs of the name brands but I will be comparing them in value and by quality as well as overall price which should be fun :)

Thirdly I am in search of a new laptop for my blogging as I no longer have my old one, I don't need anything flash just something simple that does the job so any suggestions would be amazingly appreciated. Oh, I almost forgot I got a haircut not long ago and now have a sassy hair do to go with my glowing personality haha, let's see how many people want to see my new hair :)

And lastly I just wanted to say I missed you all heaps and I will not be away so long next time <3

Bye for now

Bond with me

Today i came to the conclusion that i want to develop a bond with you all and tell you something so deep that effects me everyday, well i guess like a plaster its best to just rip it off. . . I have had very bad self esteem to the point where 70-80% of the time i hated myself and the way i look mostly down to my weight, i take a lot of "selfies" to hide the fact that it takes all my restraint not to try and cut off the fat i used to be size 8-10 and 65kgs a healthy weight and i gained 40kg and size 18-20 in just over a year.
Before Weight gain this is at 63.5 kgs

I want address this right now, I am not doing this for pity, i am doing it to educate young women on the fact that there is no need to hate yourself anymore, the girls i see on the front of shop windows, some girls look like that but the truth is that most don't. And to be brutally honest all i want to say to these shops is "f#@k OFF!" and for them to stop cultivating so many young girls to hate them selves by saying that what they advertise is beautiful, sexy or hot whilst inadvertently making girls think well i don't look like that so that must mean i am not beautiful by cross examination.
This is now at 110kgs

I do understand that its not just the retailers fault its society in general and the current standards of beauty. However using images of Photoshopped women is basically meaning all this self loathing is based on the lie within the images that these women are really like the photo when in fact they could be 10kgs heavier and have stretch marks but they remove that to make society happy.

Sorry for the long rant but i feel so much anger and sadness in regards to this topic as it effects me and the people i love personally and it needs to change.
