DIY Customized Shirts

In today's post i am going to run through a couple snazzy ideas on how to customize your shirts; you can use old baggy stretched out shirts or even a shirt that you picked up from K-mart for $3 a pop. In this Case i used option B.

Idea 1: Acrylic Paint
To make the first design i basically splatted paint on one side of the shirt and then folded it in half to create an inkblot test effect

To make the second design i just decided i wanted to make a shirt with an evil pop tart on it so i painted it haha

Idea 2: Print your own iron on transfers

For This idea you just find an image you want on your shirt, print it shiny side down on iron on transfer paper using an inkjet printer (not a laser printer), Cut out the image as close to the edge as you can, Peel off Backing, Place where you want the design with the grease proof paper on top, Using an iron on high setting apply heat evenly over 30 secondsish and finally once it has slightly cooled gently peel off the grease proof paper to reveal your design

My Best Friend Ness

Hello My lovelies i wanted to take a moment to appreciate the people important to me,

My best friend in the whole wide world is +Vanessa Thornton, people say this all the time but i can seriously say i have found my BFFL in her. We have been through so much together; she is kind, funny, understanding and very honest. She stands up for you when your feeling down trodden, she lifts you up, brushes you off and tells you your beautiful and that the world goes on.

She is the kind of person i strive to be, Someone who lights up the world around them with happiness and positivity.

She is the Wind beneath my wings and we will go on having adventures together, i wanted to take a moment for her, so she will always know how much she is appreciated.

Bye for now

5 Top Tips for dressing for work

1. Black is Back... Well really it never went away, nothing screams professionalism like black trousers or a black pencil skirt.

2. Bright coloured shirts can bring a much needed lift to your work attire.

3. Less is more when it comes to make up and jewellery

4. Find little ways to show off your personality, you could style your hair vintage or you you could wear a piece of personal jewellery like my viking oath band which i made myself.

5. Long clean lines and creating a clean silhouette will leave you feeling confident and ready to take on the work place.

Bye for now

Stretching My Ears So Far

I want to start off by saying i have wanted to stretch my ears since i was 17 and it has taken me until now to take it upon myself and rise above the negative opinions people have over stretching ones ears and just do it... like what the hell :)

I started off by going on eBay and purchasing a spiral taper set
However i would recommend buying this stainless steel set instead as it includes more sizes and tunnels

Nearly everyone is pierced with an 18g stud so when starting with already pierced ears like me (i have over 18 piercings in my ears alone hehe) the first step is stretch up to a 16g... wait a second i think first i should show you what the sizes look like ...
The sizes are measured by their diameter measurement as you can see on the cross section chart above (wow already sounding like a teacher) i hope this helps you understand what i am talking about when i mention sizes...
Okay carrying on... when i went from a 18g to a 16g i did not feel any pain at all in fact it was barely sore so after a few days the jewellery was becoming loose so i sized up to a 14g and this time i felt more of pinching feeling  as it is a 0.4mm difference between the 16g and 14g  where as it is 0.2mm between 18g to 16g.
I left my ears to heal cleaning them regularly and within a couple of days ... and again i had no pain and the jewellery became loose so i chose to size up again to a 12g which again pinched but after a couple of days the pattern kept occuring until now i am up to a 2g so 6mm and sizing up again.
My goal size is a 12mm/14mm but i will slowly get there.

*MY TOP TIP FOR STRETCHING EARS IS MOISTURISE!!! MOISTURISE!!! MOISTURISE!!* I used tattoo goo and it worked wonders as well as paw paw ointment and witch hazel lotion

my current size 2g...

The biggest i would go...

Peace out xx

Whats Up Pussy Cat

Well firstly my lovelies let me introduce my beautiful Kitty Cat Peeno! :)
As you can see she loves using my foot as a pillow :)
We got Peeno around ... oh gosh let me think ... September last year so she will be just over a year old now. When we got her she was around 3 weeks old and her mum had been hit by a car so she needed loving care which led her to a kind lady down the road who loves animals and helped her grow some more as she was tiny. We adopted her, well Braddles (hubbo) got her for me as an early birthday present (my birthday is in December) and when we got home she proved how tiny she is by making a home inside a tissue box.
She was so adorable and weirdly clingy she was happiest when close to me ..

The older she got the more affectionate she has become with me she lets me check her teeth fingers in her mouth and she wont bite me.
Now shes 1 (and possibly expecting kittens, we are waiting for a second opinion to confirm) and she is the loveliest Kitty Cat i could have ever ask for, i love her so much and i thank Braddles all the time for finding her for me :)
Yes i do realise that i have just done an entire blog on my cat but hey animals are people too :)
Maybe i will next blog about how i met braddles?
Peace out x
