IRON MAIDEN live @ Brisbane Entertainment Centre 04.05.16

Yesterday i got to go and see one of my favourite bands perform and as you may have guessed by the title it was ... IRON MAIDEN!!
Dougie and I arrived super early with my little brother in tow around 5:15pm and got into the merch tent early and bought ourselves a shirt each.
Gates opened at 5:30pm and then began the wait outside door 5 with my fellow blood brothers, we even bumped into a lad from Sheffield, North Yorkshire and man did he rock out he was great at getting everyone pumped throughout the night.
Once inside the long wait began for the opening band but when they did finally perform... just WOW The Raven Age were just incredible; with spectacular performance energy, a really mind blowing sound that had the crowd going, please definitely check them out as they are worth following. They performed:
  1. Promised Land
  2. The Death March
  3. Eye among the Blind
  4. Merciful one
  5. Salems (short)
  6. Angel in Disgrace

After Another wait it was time for IRON MAIDEN and i rocked out so hard it was the best night of my life. They performed:
  • If Eternity Should Fail
  • Speed of Light
  • Children of the Damned
  • Tears of a Clown
  • The Red and the Black
  • The Trooper
  • Powerslave
  • Death or Glory
  • The Book of Souls
  • Hallowed Be Thy Name
  • Fear of the Dark
  • Iron Maiden

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Nail Polish Review

This week i decided to review another nail polish i bought recently from Rimmel London the lasting finish nail polish in "Double Decker Red 030" on sale for $2 AUD which is a steal from the usual $14.95 AUD it can cost in some stores. I chose to get the double decker as many of you will know i was born in North Yorkshire and as such love all things british including double decker buses, which i dearly miss due to not been able to surf in the aisle on the top deck going around corners anymore haha.
It took me a few days to actually get off my rear and take my old polish off and test out this product as i have been busy and i will admit kind of lazy and also a little bit poorly recently, but here are my pros and cons for this product.

Pros:
  • Great amount of pigment in the product so the colour is bright even with only one coat
  • The brush is a good thickness and didn't hold too much product
  • The polish dried completely within 3-5 mins
  • The bottle has good grip on the lid making it easy to open and not to spill
  • These polishes regularly go on sale in places like Coles, Woolies and Kmart so are not too expensive
Cons:
  •  The regular retail price is pretty high
  •  When i first bought it the polish was inside wrapping that was hard to open
From now on i want to start giving products i review a "Happy Sam Rating" out of 5, with 1/5 been horrid and a 5/5 been melted chocolate and Netflix good, In using this scale i would like to give this product a:  4/5 Happy Sam Rating
I definitely reccomend this product and i will be buying more when i can,
Thanks for reading my lovelies

Sally Hansen's Diamond Shine top coat / base coat review

Recently on a visit to the shopping centre with the hubby we came across a discount bin filled with nail polishes etc and I saw this top coat (it can be used as a base and top coat). I have been meaning to invest in a new top coat for a while and I have heard great things from this brand including longer wear and less chipping, it usually retails for around $16.95 AUD in places like Kmart but due to broken packaging this bottle was only $10 AUD yay for bargains.
When I got home I used the product straight away and found a few pros and cons for the product;

Pros:
- Fast drying
- Easy to open
- The product increased the length of wear of my polish from 3 days to 7 days (with minor chipping)
- This product is sold in most stores including Kmart, Woolworths and Coles
- Added great shine to my polish

Cons:
- The brush is long and kind of clumsy
- I found the products consistency kind of runny

Overall I really enjoyed the product and will be using it every time I paint my nails from now on and definitely recommend you guys try it out if your ever in search of a new top coat/ base coat

Thanks for reading my lovelies

My best friend in the whole wide world is +Vanessa Thornton, people say this all the time but i can seriously say i have found my BFFL in her. She is the kind of person i strive to be, Someone who lights up the world around them with happiness and positivity.

Australis Conceal Correct 4 in 1 Concealer Palette Review

Hello there my lovelies,
I am going to start by explaining how i came across this concealer palette... I was out shopping with hubbo and i told him i was in need of a concealer palette so off we went into Priceline at Kippa ring and i went straight to the lady and asked her what concealer palettes they had and i swear i must have been talking a foreign language as the look she gave me was that of utter confusion. After around a minute a cog clicked in her brain and so the search began and she finally found this product and told me it was the only concealer palette they stocked.... Which is false as i have seen a concealer palette in another Priceline and went back a few days later to let them know for the manager to turn to me and basically call me a liar saying that she knows Australis is the only brand to do a palette at all... well screw you lady...Napoleon Perdis concealer palette & Mac concealer palette.... Check mate :)

Ok story over lets get down to business, I was very impressed with the Australis Concealer Palette overall it has great coverage and the colour correction is perfect for my skin as i usually have a lot of pink tone in my skin.

Pros:
  • Small packaging for easy storage in a make up bag
  • Great coverage
  • Product smells good
  • The palette has a layer for bags under your eyes and a layer for redness and each layer has a regular concealer component
  • At only $12.95 it wont break the bank
Cons:
  • It didn't come with an application brush or anything
  • The packaging was hard to open
  • It only has one mirror under the first layer and every time i try to use it the layer falls and clips back down which gets real tiring real fast.
Before
After

Well i hope you enjoyed my review of Australis Conceal Correct concealer palette

Peace out xx

The Disney Tag

Hello my lovelies,
After doing my last Tag post i am hooked one of the lovely ladies i follow Little Bits of Pixie Dust recently posted about how much she needed to do the Disney Tag and i am in the same boat,

I have been watching Disney films pretty much since i was born... my first dress up costume i had was Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Well lets get this party started...

1. Whats your favourite Disney film?
Alice in Wonderland because i love a little madness and i have always loved the story and the songs are great.
2.Which Disney movie's scene would you love to live?
The Tea Party scene in Alice in Wonderland or The Ballroom Scene in Beauty and the Beast both are magical.
3. If you were a Prince who would you be?
I know hes not really a prince but i would be Flynn Ryder from Tangled because I'm a bit of a wild card too.
 4. If you were a Princess who would you be?
Merida hands down i love archery and shes is a woman with a wild spirit like me
(Plus i am a sucker for red hair)
5. Who do you look like the most?
This one is tricky i would say kinda of a Belle with blue eyes
6. If you could choose a Disney character to be your friend who would it be?
Belle as we could read books together

7. A Disney scene that always makes you cry?
This one is easy, the scene in The Lion King when Mufasa dies and Simba tries to wake him up
8.What Disney film have you seen the most?
Alice in Wonderland easily...

9.What is your Favourite Disney Song?
Let it go from of-course Frozen i sing this song to my friends kids and they love it and so do i..
