Top 5 tips on falling in love with YOU

In today's society many young women find it almost impossible to love themselves and their bodies given how mass media presents the perfect body type, i know first hand how hard it can be to look at a magazine or show and see a model with a very petite body and long blonde hair looking absolutely amazing as well as women with almost perfect curves and to know that i look nothing like that used to make me think that then i must be ugly. After many years of thinking like this i decided that enough was enough, i can't change society on my own but i can change my way of thinking.
  1. Stop thinking that to be different is bad!
  2. Learn your strengths and your flaws and embrace them!
  3. Dress yourself in clothes YOU like not what people say you should wear for your size!
  4. Pick 5 things daily you like about yourself, it will boost your confidence x10!
  5. Talk to your friends and spread the love!

I hope this made you think a little and that you enjoyed reading it

News Flash: New INK!!

This is the Rune Vegvisir the "Norse Compass" i decided to get it tattooed on my left forearm to celebrate my upcoming travel adventures in the UK.
This symbol in the Norse religion/culture helps the bearer navigate through storms, that meaning can be taken in either the literal sense or as i like to think of it, the metaphorical sense.
I believe that this rune will help me work through the hard times in my life and on my life's journey helping me stay true to myself.
This rune is also special to me as one of my many hobbies is viking re-enactment and a life time passion of mine is and always will be history.
On the same day i had my finger tattoo fixed as when i had tattooed the original bow in just a plain black line i had stuffed it up so thankfully the Tattoo Artist as Inkantation Tattoo in Deception Bay did a lovely job at fixing it up and giving it a saucy new life with some lipstick red and a cool classic tattoo vibe.

DIY Plectrum Earrings

What you will need:
  • Pliers
  • 2 Plectrums
  • 2 Earring hooks
  • 2 Pendant links
  • a Lighter
  • a Needle

1. Using the Pliers to hold the needle heat up the end of the needle until it gets hot making sure to be careful of the flame

2. Firmly press the heated needle through the top middle of both plectrums continuing to be careful of the hot needle

3. Insert the pendant links into the hole in each plectrum.

4. Using the pliers open the connection loop on the earring hooks and attach one to each pendant link making sure they are facing the correct way so the plectrum design is facing forward.

And now you have your very own pair of personalised plectrum earrings that you can customise as much as you like
